I haven't been writing this blog for a few months as I haven't
had any comments or feedback, not even one note! But according to the
"statistics" there have been over 10,000 visits. Maybe these are
internet robots... but if I hear that you are reading, I'll continue with it.
Hi, I just found out about you today as an impressive neuroscientist-musician I should know about (someone who knew you a while back when you were a postdoc told me about you). So here's a comment from me! I'm still somewhat near NYC, and was curious about whether you're still doing those Entertaining Science things at Cornelia St. cafe, or whether there are any other places for scientist musicians to entertain people with their music and/or science.
ReplyDeletehi psychecorp, apologies for missing this note, I have neglected the blog and missed it. If you send me your email address, I'll put you on the mailing list for the Entertaining Science series at Cornelia St Cafe, which is indeed still going strong. My email is davesoldier43@gmail.com
DeleteHi Dave!
ReplyDeleteThis is Ron from Oregon. I normally pester you via email, I'm always amazed at all the awesome talented people you've played with and know. There's no jazz community out here in the boonies so I'm forced to live vicariously through your tales! I love Billy Bang and I bet he was a great human being, Also Charlie Burnham seems awesome. I didn't even know you had a blog until just right now, or I would've posted encouraging words sooner. I should get an award for "latest reply"
hey Ron
ReplyDeleteThanks for the note. I'll put up some material about Giorgio Gomelski, who produced some of those concerts, as well as other projects. I have let the blog go given that it seemed that no one was reading it, but if you and psychecorp are, it's worth it...
